Sustainability & Ethics
Principles don’t stop at the gym or the bank. They guide every choice we make.
The apparel industry has a sustainability problem. Many brands overproduce, leaving warehouses full of unsold stock - much of which ends up wasted. We take a different path.
Made-to-Order, Always
Every Discipline Disciple product is created only after you place your order. This on-demand model means:
-
No overproduction.
-
No unnecessary waste.
-
Every piece is made specifically for you.
Responsible Production
We work with a trusted global production partner who:
-
Meets strict labour and workplace safety standards.
-
Uses printing technology that generates almost zero wastewater and consumes less energy than standard industry printers.
-
Disposes of any leftover inks in line with environmental guidelines.
Printing & Embroidery
-
Direct-to-Garment Printing (DTG). Our designs are printed using water-based, vegan, Oeko-Tex™ certified inks, free from harmful chemicals.
-
Embroidery - We use 100% recycled polyester threads, also Oeko-Tex™ certified, ensuring safety for both adults and children’s clothing.
Eco-Friendly Materials
Some of our products are made with at least 70% organic or recycled materials. We only source materials backed by internationally recognised certifications, including:
-
GOTS or OCS for organic composition.
-
GRS or RCS for recycled composition.
Packaging
All apparel is shipped in post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging made from everyday items like used plastic bags and bottles. PCR protects your order just as well as virgin plastic, but with a much smaller environmental impact.
Why It Matters
Discipline is about doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching.
By choosing made-to-order production, ethical manufacturing, and eco-friendly materials, we’re making sure the clothing you wear reflects the principles you stand for.
